(h/t ATVS)
Miles: "I do not know who called for the spike."
The video doesn't lie, Les. You do.
What a chump.
FIRE. LES. MILES.

Agreed on both counts.

He was telling him to "clock" it.... Miles is a genius!

it's really a moot point anyway, there is no way the ball would've been snapped before the clock hit zero regardless what play was called...the real questions revolve around the prior few plays and the botched timeout.

NO, he wasn't saying Toliver was down. Even if he was, thats dumb. He needs to be getting his team prepared for the next play. He called for the spike and blamed it on JJ. No character.

Jefferson wasnt ready, so when the clock started he wasnt prepared to snap it. Had he been prepared and not confused because of the coaching we could have gotten the play off in time

He would have signaled to Jefferson to clock it, Jefferson was still at midfield. He did not call for a spike.

Way beside the point now, but did anyone notice in the game video that as Tolliver lay on the ground with the ball and the ref is walking up to mark it, there are 2 seconds left on the clock. Another one ticks off after the play. Should of had time to kill it and kick it....I know, who cares....way more problems than that.
