It's still extraordinarily early, but this game is huge for LSU, they can do something they couldn't do last year that really hurt them come tourney time... beat a ranked team.
And UCONN didn't look that great, call me crazy, but I think we can put a scare in them, maybe even beat them.

Hey, regardless of the outcome, what a great experience for our team to go to NYC and MSG to play UConn. You know we will be pumped. This could pay dividends later in the season.

I like that we get to play two games in MSG no matter what we do against UCONN. Of course I'd like the second game to be for the championship, but at least we get two games of good big arena experience no matter what.

GREAT exposure for this team ala 2006 when we lost by a single point to the "best team in CBB" and Tyrus lit Boone and Ugly Charlie V up.

So if we lose we'll also play either Duke or Arizona State, who are both tournament teams. Duke is normally a good team, or so I've heard.

ASU is playing TCU now on ESPN2 with the winner playing Duke at MSG.
