LSU has no team leader and tries to look for guidance through the coach and the qb but when the qb looks scared to death who's the one that gets them motivated?

i'm sure LaFell is the leader of the receivers, but not sure about locker room/overall team leader

I think after the Tech game...........the title goes to JJ whether he wants it or not. The team wants to play for him, the fans want to support him......the coaches really dont have a better option other than him right now so they got nowhere else to go.

JJ's wearing the heavyweight championship belt of leadership over his shoulder now........he must lead us for better or worse to the promise land.

Perry Riley, Charles Scott, Ciron Black, Jojo, Chad Jones, Kelvin Sheppard, Peterson.....all are pretty vocal leaders.

Of course we could just ignore that.

Then we still don't have a leader. I'm sorry, nothing against JJ, but he doesn't fit the bill. A leader is someone who leads by example in how he plays the game, gains respect when he can look other players in the eye and tell them they need to step it up, can play through minor injuries and can influence others to play "above their pay grade" when needed. I can't think of one player who can pull this off right now.

Totally agree. Moreover, our Coaches play well "below their pay grade", doing just enough to barely get by.

I agree driver- I believe were playing to the best of our abilities with the coaching staff we have. We can't expect anyone to take that position over when they don't think the coaches know what there doing.

Probably the most useless and overhyped concept in all of sports.
