Thought they did a hell of a job, and just thought someone needed to say it...

They did play a very good game. Those speedy backs are tough to catch.
I enjoyed watching some of the names I know from following HS recruiting.
Livas, Porter, Duplessis, Banks, Fitte, Calais
These are all guys we could have had if we wanted. Watching them run all over our D reminded me of Jaquizz Rogers running right through an over-sized USC D. Small and speedy...that is the way CFB is trending right now. We still like them big and slow.
I ALWAYS thought we should have offered Livas. Porter impressed the hell out of me last night. Terrance Calais is an LSU legacy and I always thought he would get an offer, but he didn't.

Hats off to LA Tech. They played their asses off and are much more talented than I think the average fan who doesn't no much about them realizes. I think they benefited severely from our lethargic effort and lack of excitement to play, but nonetheless, I was impressed with their overall talent level, energy, and effort.

The announcers mentioned that they had 8 starters out. They came off of that emotional game with Boise.
I don't understand the fans on here today playing the "injuries" and "letdown" card for why this one was close. Those applied to both teams! LA Tech played well.

They played their best and did a representative job. If you think abut it, they shouldn't be anywhere close to us.

We'd have won handily if we'd had Jefferson and Scott. But hey, injuries happen. And Tech made the most of their opportunity to knock us off, at least in the first half. It's interesting that they seem to muddle around with other schlub teams, but when they play us and Boise State, they man up. That's college football for ya.

Didn't they have injuries also?
