Heroic Effort

Key injuries turned the Tide as a confident LSU team gave us what we have come to see and respect; all out heroic effort. Just as the presence of Matsui was felt in game six of the series, absence of Peterson disabled at key times in the game and what can we say about the interception; disabled through ignorance and human error. There is not rule which says a receiver must control the ball to his body to qualify as an "inbounds" catch. How can this young man be deprived of one of the most beautiful and athletic game reversing plays with cameras in place can only be a product of our ignorance. So be it.
