What I wanted to know is on the authentic jerseys are the numbers the same size on the front as the back????and location??? if not what are the sizes of numbers on the front and back?
You know it is sad that you can't find a authentic jersey in Baton Rouge....home of the Tigers...

They don't sell authentic one anywhere that I know of in Baton Rouge....I was there for the Tulane game went to bookstore and all thre Tigermaina's all they have there are screen printed pieces of crap

here is the breakdown on authentic jerseys...
occasionally after the season they sell off some of them from the bookstore near mikes cage (only purple ones)...although, last year, i dont think they did this, and i heard somewhere (maybe here) they werent going to do it anymore.
I also think they hold a silent auction for some as well - however I dont know the details on when.
however - as far as replica's go, they now do a nice looking one with numbers sewn on both front and back -- have a look at this link below.

edited to say, the authentic game used one are not wear-able for anyone...they are made to wear over pads and are super tight, even on small people and they are loooong they go down past your knees.

Earlier this year both LSUShop.net and lsustuff.com (tyger gifts) were selling an authentic white #9 jersey for about $150.
Not currently on either website. You might call Tyger Gifts (504 885 6579) and ask about future availability.
update: found it. now, i'm not saying it's the real deal, i'm just saying that's what it is advertised as. btw out of stock on this site.
