While our kickoff return yardage may be ranked very low, there is a reason for it. Teams aren't kicking to our returners, and have continuously pooch kicked it. Despite that, our more important stat is starting field position.

Average starting field position?
32.3 yard line

# of times starting inside our 20?
3 out of 23 (13%) with one being at the 19.

We have started 14 out of 23 (68%)drives following kickoffs at or beyond our on 30 yard line. That's pretty damn good if you ask me.

We've started 20 out of 23 (87%) drives at our 20 or beyond.

All in all, I'd say that's pretty damn good, and we've seen that Trindon can take them a long way a few times this year.

I've never worried about that. I'm worried about Helton and his health. Hopefully he sucks it up and avg. 40 yards/kick w/ hang time.

We can always use Jasper on punts if Helton struggles or is still injured. He's proven that he can be a a solid punter.
