Positives. We win the SEC championship game with him which ultimately led to a national championship.

Negatives. He cause much turmoil during his tenure here and thus left us with qb's who weren't ready to start yet. So an 8-5 season in 08, and a questionable 09.

What's your thoughts?

just too tired of this guy. He made his choices and he has to live with them - LSU is just fine without that kind of character.

Sort of depends on what you mean when you say "with him." If you mean with him and his ongoing misbehavior, indulgence in whatever got him kicked off ultimately, and "it's all about me, and I'm above the rules" attitude, then without is clearly better. If you mean "with him" and he learns his lesson, goes to school, obeys the rules, doesn't ingest anything on the FDA's list of controlled dangerous substances and doesn't threaten to self-destruct right before a big game or in mid-season with no experienced backup, then maybe we'd have been better off with him. But the latter scenario is about as likely as having Matt Flynn declared eligible for another 2 seasons.

Actually I was thinking grand scheme. Would we have won the NC in 07 had he not been here, and was it worth it to have one NC with two following mediocre seasons (not that this season will turn out that way mind you).

I have to agree with Sam on this one. RP passed for 220+ yards and rushed for some as well. He didn't turn the ball over and managed the game well. All we had was a harvard transfer and a true frosh in (you guessed it) Jarrett Lee. Do you honestly think they would have put up those numbers against that Tennessee defense? Didn't think so.

I think we have been better off without him. Yes in the short term it sucked because of what happened last year. But I have been wanting to see a QB start for 4 years at LSU. The last time I can remember a 4 year starter was maybe Hodson it think. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I want to see LSU cultivate a QB for 4 years. I think we are just getting a glimpse of what JJ or JL can do. At year 3 or 4 those two could end up being scarey good.

RP's two starts for LSU were middle tennessee where he put up heisman type stats, and TENNESSEE where he put up a heisman type win

You can't make that reach.

"Questionable 09?" Are you really that stupid or that big of a piece of shite. I can't decide which it is.

What's your thoughts?

I know he is gone, and we are definately better off without him but just think if he would have got his shite straight with no true heisman front runner this season it could have easily been him winning the heisman trophy 50 years after Billy. And possibly a national championship.

I'd trade one to two bad years for that 07 BCSC. If that's what Perilloux signifies, one BCS and two bad years afterwards. I'm happy.

Maybe we don't win anything big this year, but next year we're the tits! Howev, if we beat Bama, this is a good year.

Yes I can make that reach. What's your argument to say that we win the SEC championship game without him?

Questionable 09? We have only beaten one team with a winning record and lost to one. The hardest part of our SEC West is still yet to be played so yes it is still in question.

You sir have just proven to be an idiot. So you really don't want to know my thoughts on you.

What are your logical comments on this topic becuase right now you have none. You worthless piece of...never mind.

Sonnyboy, your thought on me mean less than zero to me. You and those of your ilk do nothing but try to stir shite on these boards. You are a joke, sonnyboy. A bad one at that.
BTW, your goat is just fine and grazing in my back pasture.
