1st down will be huge!!!

After watching Bama this year on Def., I will say that the most important down will be first down, not third!!!!... If we go to 2nd or 3rd in long, that is when the blitz schemes get dialed up. We can not get in obvious passing downs with this OL we have or it will be a long game. First down yardage will make the differance in this game.
Question, with they way the OL has played so far, and being how good Alabama defense is, do you think we roll the pocket, and get JJ on the move in passing situations??

Pass on 1st , roll out and play action plus some bubble screens and slants. Then throw it deep.

No one knows. Don't ask those questions cause you're going to get 100,000 responses saying "Our O-Line sucks!!! They just suck!!! Man they Suck!!!!" with no real answer. The honest truth is that we have no idea what the gameplan will be for Bama. We'll find out at probably 2:40 on Saturday when Gary Danielson tells us what it is after our first play like he always does.

Question- What's the name of the play where JJ drops back with an empty backfield and 5 recievers?
Answer- Sack.
Stay away from that formation and play call puhleeez.

Yea, thats what me and a couple of friends were talking about as well. I think he is going to have to move him around a bit... I just cant see JJ having the time to throw 20+ yard passes consistantly down the field. I will watching very closely to see what they call on first down.
I am just scared if they try to run the ball up the middle the whole time, and keep putting JJ in 3rd and long...we all know what is going to happen. Odds are, he is going to throw a pick, or fumble after being hit...and the fans are going to blame him....yet, it could be the coaches fault for the play calling on 1st and 2nd, that caused the play??? I think Crowton and Miles will be creative....I have faith in them.
