Why is everyone saying Fobbs to LSU when he is TAM commit?

It is expected that if Reed goes elsewhere, which is seems like he will, LSU will offer Fobbs and he will take the offer. Not a lock but seems very possible.

The way I remember it we offered him at db not receiver. If Reed goes to Auburn we may offer him at receiver and he will likely commit to us.

they offered him at WR after he committed to A&M and that is the main reason he didnt commit to us. Hes a big LSU fan and will likely switch to LSU now that he can play the position he wanted to play in college.

I'm going to assume you know nothing about the A&M offense...Sherman and company have shown this season that they can put true freshmen in a position to succeed early (see Christine Michael, Uzoma Nwachaku, Brandell Jackson, etc.).
It's not ridiculous to think that Davis could be interested in joining a young, improving team. However, I see Davis holding his commit to LSU as well as Fobbs honoring his commit to A&M.
