I don't see Saban winning an SEC Champ at bama anytime soon. I still think LSU wins the west and gets another chance to play Florida again! No decline here!

Have you watched bama play any games this season?

I didn't read all five pages, so I apologize if I repeat what someone else said. I was never angry at Saban for leaving LSU. He wanted to take a shot at the highest level in his profession after reaching the pinnacle at the college ranks. It didn't work out in the NFL so he came back to college. I was upset about him going to Bama because I knew he would turn them around, and recruit like hell in our backyard. Since then we won another national championship, and continued to recruit extremely well.

What bothers me now is that watching Bama play looks like we used to look, especially on defense. I am not anti-Miles, in fact I like Les Miles. However, it is hard to argue the fact that our performance on the field has dropped despite the fact that we are just as talented as Bama and Florida. Is it coaching? Is it the scheme? Are our players overrated? I don't know. The Tide is definitely back, and they ain't going anywhere anytime soon. We need to reclaim our place among the elite in the SEC, I don't think we are there right now.

what decline are you speaking of?..LSU has won one national championship...sice his departure and Saban has won nothing of the sort at Alabama...until he does that and he isn't assured of it this year either...I see no rise...they just suck less then they did...

LSU's issues have nothing to do with Alabama and Saban kicking arse. LSU is in the Top 10, nice placement, it's goals in front. The offense sucks though and that's the coaches fault. Miles better wake up or get out.

The SEC West is sick good. I look for Florida to decline a bit and for BAMA, LSU, AU, Arky, and OM to be really competitive. I'd say BAMA and LSU will compete real hard to win the West each year --- like this one.

What do you base this prediction on? As of now I do not see how LSU will even score a touchdown against Bama's defense. I would not be surpised for LSU to lose all of the SEC games on the schedule if Miles and Crowton don't make adjustments on the offense.

Is this the same great Saban that got skull-dragged by that awesome program from UTAH. Or the well coached Saban team that lost to IOWA in his last bowl game here? Which great coach is it? And just maybe his undefeated regular season record last year has something to do with NOT having to play FLORIDA until the end. How would he fair having to play them TWICE. And how come the great Saban only escaped last year in overtime with Lee throwing those pick-6. I agree that he is a good coach, but IMO he is given way to much credit for his time here and not enough credit is given to LSU. Why didn't he accomplish jack at Mich. ST? He was OUTCOACHED by Dinardo for pete's sake. So you tell me who benefited more? Saban or LSU. IMHO, i think Saban benefitted more from LSU. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
