DeltaDoc...I thought you had a good post and I agree with the majority of it.
Honestly, I first thought that Coach Saban would be the ONE college coach who could succeed in the NFL. I was very much surprised that he was not able to turn the Dolphin franchise around. I recall telling people that I thought he would have Miami back in the Super Bowl within 4 years. His one MAJOR mistake in Miami was courting and selecting Culpepper over Brees. I think that if he goes after Brees, he would still be in Miami today and leaving at the end of the season for Notre Dame.
At this time I honestly see him remaining in Alabama for the rest of his coaching days. What I see for LSU is the same fate as Texas and Oklahoma. Our seasons will be good seasons with everything hinging on the game with Alabama. I believe that we will win once or twice against Bama every five years.
