Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this also the day of the '88 earthquake? Or is that the 17th? I only remember because it's so close to my b-day. I remember watching the intros with Al Michaels and the screen going crazy. The earthquack happened and the cameras started scanning the fields.
