I have some money online that I am looking to get off and I know some of you always try and put money on but it doesnt work. I am willing to ship money to you guys if you need it. I will accept Paypal.

Email me at maravichlsu@mttbacking.com if you want to swap.
Maximus or Chowds will vouch for me if you need that. I am also willing to ship the $$$ first if either of these guys will vouch for you.

sorry if you really meant this. it sounded really sarcastic.

The Tiger droppings poker tourneys we used to do were really fun. Too bad they always delete our threads when we try and get them going.

shite happens.
Made Day 3. About 3 hours into day 3 a russian guy with the biggest forehead i ever saw raised from the cutoff. I was in the SB and called with 77. Flop came Q 7 3 with 1 club( the 3). I check shove the flop and he insta calls. Pot is about $100,000. He turns over K Q of clubs. Im 95% fav to win the hand at this point as he needs either a K,Q, or club to hit the turn or the hand is over. Even if he hits 1 of them he has to go running K's, Q's, clubs or K Q. Turn was club. River was club. i win that pot and i pretty much assure myself a cash of $23,000. was left with about 20,000 and busted about 5 hands later when me ( button) and the BB get it all in on the flop of A 5 3. A5 v A3. shite happens. was a great experience. Ill be back next year.

Hey screenname I wanted to know what you thought about this thread
LINK
How much of poker do you think is luck and how much do you think is skill. I felt I couldn't even argue with Deathvalleydriver cause he seemed way to dumb.

I was being sarcastic. For reasons like the above.

ETA: Pocket 7s again huh? I remember the first hand you came on here and complained about was you going all in with pocket 7s. Although in this case it was much more justified.

Ill be there........ buttttttt i know you wont b/c your a little bitch and like to talk over a message board like you know wtf is going on. and you will say you cashed out all your money and you dont like playing poker anymore cause its stupid and kiddy. if your questioning the 7 7 hand your a fricking moron. You have 0 profit/live playing multi table tourneys. I have $70k . why do you continue to act like you know what the frick you are talking about?

Its hard to justify an actual % of luck or skill. Texas Holdem is obviously a game of skill but luck is involved to a degree. If you make the correct plays over and over you will be a winning player in the long run. Math is Math. Numbers hold true over the long term. 2+2 will always equal 4. Will AA lose to KK. yes. obviously it will. shite happens. If you make the correct play each time (no matter whether you win or lose the hand) it is +ev. ( ask txtiger25 what ev is. Im sure he cant answer that)

The larger the fields get the more lucky you have to get to go deep. thats obvious. If you look at the final 9 people of the main event and could go through their entire HH from the main event you would be surprised how many hands they won when they were way behind pre flop/ post flop. Also a big thing in poker is not getting unlucky. this is what really sucks. when you play for 5 hours and get unlucky.

example: last week i was playing the stars $55 70k gurantee. probably around 1500 players. We get to the final table bubble. 10 players left. 10th is $650. 1st is $13,000
each table is 5 handed. i probably have 30 bbs and get 10 10 on the button. folds to me and i obv open. BB who is the biggest stack in tourney 3 bets me like i figured he would as he had 3 bet the button open alot. I obv 4 bet shove and he snap calls with AA. running 10 10 into AA 5 handed button vs BB is just unlucky.

Tigerstudent,
as for that thread, im not reading it and wasting my time. I probably can already tell you what it says without reading it after some of the shite I read on here from some people.

Luck is obviously involved in poker as luck is pretty much involved in everything in life. playing multi table tourneys comes with alot of variance. you can go on huge upswings and then huge downswings. I can personally attest to this as I was on a $50k upswing from october 08 to may 09. Currently on a $10k downswing. That can change overnight though as I play enough tourneys a night where I can easily win $25k-$50k

Sorry if I rambled on to answer your question. I usually play online 2-4 nights a week and am willing to talk poker/help you out anyway I can. I also see your a student.
hit me up at maravichlsu@mttbacking.com and ill give you my AIM. Good luck bro.
