Maybe it's just me but I thought that JL looked as nervous as a whore in church the two times he's been in. He succeeded those times but each were very basic quick plays.
But who knows what would happen with him taking 3-4 step drops from under center rather than from the 'gun and throwing quick slants and screens, etc. with an occasional deep ball which he throws extremely well.
I know those are the plays that caused so much trouble for him last year but it would only take one or two series to find out if he's improved or not.
If we're going to continue to run the option, it needs to be done by RS exclusively. Done properly with TH or KW, who gives a rats arse if the d knows it's coming? What better element of surprise would there be with the d never knowing if he's going to pass off it?
