Halfway through the season, LSU is 12th in the SEC in total offense and 7th in total defense. By contrast, Alabama is 4th in total offense and 2nd in total defense. The game is in Alabama.

No one is "afraid", but to win LSU needs to improve dramatically. Luckily there is time.

And btw, you saying the Meyer risked the life of his star player is beyond ridiculous. Tebow was cleared to play by his physicians. Silly.

But this is precisely the point I am trying to get across. Our defense is improving in leaps and bounds and luckily there is time for our Offense to improve by the end of the season before we meet Bama.

Maybe I used hyperbole to push across a point about risking life - but it sure was risking the quality of life had something happened. There have been enough people cautioning about concussions that it doesn't seem worth hurrying up the healing process.

But if I was wrong then it supports my case all the more that we played a really good Florida Offense and held them to just 13 points and Bama is nowhere close to the Gators in either players (with experience and led by Tebow) and coached by an offensive minded Coach (Meyer and co).

Everyone is ready to believe that all other teams will improve and kill us but refuse to believe that our Defense can show the same leaps in improvement and hence hold Bama to single points!!!.

Agreed their strength is their D but it can't be any worse than Florida's and not much better either - having been through one of the two already I don't see why we should quake for the other.
