Why this game is so critical for the season...

I believe this game will dictate the rest of our season. Yes, a win vs. Florida would be GREAT but all is not lost if we lose, IF we win this weekend. We'll have 1 loss going into a bye week with the big SEC West showdowns ahead. It's easy to say every game the next week is the biggest of the season, but it truely is that way this weekend. A win at UGA and the season looks promising with our defense and hopefully offense only getting better as the season goes on. With that said,

I agree. I dont want to say the Fla game is already a loss but if we lose UGA and Fla I dont think this team would recover. I think LSU wins tomorrow though.

Personally, I think we go 1-1 the next two games. Not sure how we do it and which win we get, but I think we get one.
That said, most fans will jump off the bridge if we go 0-2 the next two weeks, but IMO all is not lost. I could definitely see us losing these next two games but running the table the rest of the way with maybe one loss to Bama along the way.
And end the season at 9-3, which is, ironically enough ... the average preseason prediction for this team.
I think people are putting too much emphasis on the "importance" of this game for our season. It's just one game, and it's not even a Division game, not to mention it's an early season game. It's doubly "not important" relative to our division games in november.
I don't want to play our best football early in the year. I want to be playing our best football at the end of the season when titles and championships are on the line.
