Lets be honest about the goal-line stand.

3rd down 1 foot to go -> failure to give ball to Dixon = stupid. Receiver was open. CJ makes good play. = Poor play call by Miss St.

4th down 1 foot to go -> QB option Dixon free for pitch with wide open field and lead blocker - QB holds onto the ball = stupid

LSU won but they didn't beat Miss. St. Miss St. lost the game because they gave it away through stupid play calling on the goal line.

Anyone that thinks differently needs to rewatch the game. Miss St. blew our d-line 5 yards back to the LBs almost every play. They line up at the goal line and our LBs come up and make plays, but our line was pushed backward on both first and second down. Then Miss St. decided to stop running straight at us. Miss St. gave the game away.

Don't get me wrong. A win is a win is a win. 4-0 is 4-0. But I would prefer for us to be beating the other team instead of winning because the other team gives it to us.

That is call outplaying the other team. I hope you know that FOOTBALL is all about play calling and coaching. DAn Mullen made the play, made the call and Les Miles in turn made the appropriate call.

If he had gotten the touchdown, he would have out coach miles, not the other way around. You can't simply say, that if they didn't do that mistake then they would have won.

If so then you can say the same for LSU. Stop giving other teams the benefit of the doubt, when it came down to it, miles made the call, he could have switch formation or change up personal but he put THAT group in.

I think maybe you should stop watching football.

So their playcalling was good enough to get them down the field, but on the same drive bad enough to not get 1 more yard?
