Starkville Tailgating - Before and After the Game

The area next to the Humphrey Coliseum is where I have parked/tailgated in the past. The campus map shows this to be a reserved lot now ("Bulldog Club Lot"). Is there still visitor parking between the reserved lot and the fence?
A little help from the Bulldog fans? Maybe someone who has been there more recently than I have?
Any other suggestions where a trailer can park? No trailers allowed in "The Junction"

Try parking out by the Vet school. I know a lot of LSU fans parked their 2 years ago.

Is there anywhere to park that isn't reserved near the junction?

10-4. Thanks, Six Pack.

Stone blvd is always a good tailgating spot for visitors. Thats the road that runs from the junction out to the vet school around Thompson Hall.

Where do I park if we're setting up here?

If you are setting up at the junction you better be there at 5pm on friday. That place will be full at 5:03
But if you are there just put all your stuff on the sidewalk by the junction and go park by the fraternity houses

I've seen pictures of it...there's plenty of room.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to tailgate anywhere besides the junction. in the past people tailgated all around the stadium, but now the junction is the place. come join us. it is large and nothing but grass and sidewalks and right next to the stadium. drop your stuff off and park in the large parking lot on the south side.

actually directly away from the stadium is $10 parking that is pretty close also.

I would love to have them too, but if anybody thinks (msu or lsu) is getting a spot on gameday just didnt pay attention to the junction the first game.

can you park at this lot on Friday after 5pm? $10 would be fine just to avoid the hassle of worrying about it

I don't remember any of the names. It's been four years and I only went to one game last year(we sucked). There's the stadium, then the junction, then a large classroom building. Behind the building is reserved parking a farther away starts paid parking. Not far. $10 I think.

Yea, fixed it...typo. Regardless, I think we'll be fine...

Golfer I hope your right.

Msu tailgating and atmosphere has improved some thank god.

Good to hear, it wasn't that fun two years ago because of the Thursday start...
Posted on 9/21/09 at 1:52 pm to Golfer
Thursday is terrible tailgating, because of where the stadium is. Its smack down in the middle of campus and they dont cancel classes so all the parking lots are full and they dont let you set up until 5. TERRIBLE. I hope we never play another thursday night game unless its away.
