All Les Miles has done is WIN at LSU. I'm sticking with THE HAT...we might have some bumps in the road, but quit freaking out people!

Our fanbase is spoiled now. They expect an undefeated season every year and for our team to beat everyone by 40.

Yea, and the argument is always the same: 3-0.
I haven't seen anyone come on here and say that based on the level of execution by our players, we are awesome and beyond reproach... have you?

I don't see how anyone COULD say that. As of now, we've done just enough to get by and make it look respectable. There's plenty to nit-pick about... and after we play Georgia, it won't stop, but it'll either get a lot better or a hell of a lot worse.

Well you know it is true, everyone booed JL last year how terrible he done & this year they have taken him out & replaced him w/ someone else & now he is not good enough either so what does that prove that they think they can do better. Obviously not cause it is not them out on that field, wonder how they would feel if they were the ones under the knife they probably would feel alot like crap & that is how they are making our team feel...what great supporters our wonderful team has....

We don't even have close to video game numbers -- but other teams in the conference, notably other teams like Auburn, Alabama and Arkansas are.
Georgia is.
Fan expectations aren't the problem.
The product on the field is not even meeting Miles' expectations.
This is the second year in a row of it.
Right now, it looks like we are dogs against UGA, Fla., Ole Miss, Al, Auburn and Arkansas.

Don't people know anyone who bitches about LSU coaches is off limits and untouchable on the RANT?
If our Athletic Department thinks a perfect 3-0 start and #7 ranking is going to quiet dissention among the RANT's Coach Haters they have learned nothing and are totally clueless.
We expect at least one over-paid LSU coach to be put on the hot seat each year, and one head coach fired at least every five years just for the fun of it.

Good posts, gents & ladies(?).
Miles is our guy, he gets paid the big bucks, and we have to trust him (even though we all have our criticisms, including me). Look, we're 3-0 through Week 3, and going by today's rankings, LSU doesn't only play in the nation's toughest conference, it plays in the best DIVISION, period. Counting LSU, 3 of the top 7 teams compete in the SEC West.
This could be a team that plays to the level of its competition. Miles' play-calling/changing plays on offense with Crowden or whatever, continues to vex me and many folks on The Rant. Shepard needs be out there more often (and I mean for series or quarters, not just spot duty).
The tough SEC games will be not as daunting if our opponents have to really prepare for and then actually play against the diverse skills of JJ & Shepard. And NO J.Lee! He's toxic, he's a virus and Miles rode that pony long enough last yr.
Of course Lee could be better this yr. How can anyone be worse than that dude? Just remember, of every person who has lived or died in the history of this planet, not one has matched the seven pick-6s coughed up by Lee last season.
And, Les we forget, Gen. Lee's 16 interceptions & 14 TDs (those were caught by his actual receivers) in eight starts. With Hatch & JJ each throwing one INT, LSU was picked off 18 times for an unthinkable 461 return yards (LSU had eight for 51 return yds).
