For all of those who ask what all the hub bub is about as we are now 3-0 and Washington beat USC I have the following question?

How much money would you wager that LSU will lose no more than 3 (out of 8) games in SEC play this year?

Edited to make more realistic.

Not a chance. But, I'm not a betting man.

We will drop 4-5 games this year if our offensive line doesn't step it up. I am not chalking up the Arkansas or Auburn games as automatic wins anymore. Both of those teams seem to have new life with the coaching changes. It is not likely but we could easily lose to every West opponent we play this year. The team doesn't have that killer instinct to put teams away.

That's my point. But I edited the question to make it more market based.

i would place a healthy bet on that. of course, i'm not a big gambler and normally bet with friends for fun. so, a healthy bet to me is $100 or so. i think we lose 2-4 SEC games with no real feel exactly so 3 is in the middle.

It isn't that bad a bet. LSU does not look like a title contender but the team does look like it may have an alright defense, play fairly disciplined football, and don't turn the ball over much. Our O-line doesn't look great but we do have play makers on offense. Only losing 3 SEC games is not a terrible bet based on that.

Good call !! If you have no running game in the SEC you are in trouble!!!

No more than three in the regular season?

I'd put $100 on that, but I'm a cheap bastard and gambling isn't in my nature. I like money too much.

You figure Florida, UGA, and Bama are good candidates for a loss. We beat the rest and I get a 100% ROI.
