I surely hope we get a better duo in the booth this weekend...The two for the UW game were horrible.

i maybe should have gone with directv originally, but now it's too late. plus, i like having CST when baseball season comes around. don't get that with directv.

Yea I just graduated a couple years ago and feel your pain. I did call the cable company up and tell them that I was trying to decide between dish or cable and they hooked me up with Showtime and HBO for free and gave me $25 off my bill for a year.

I guess you'd be pissed to hear that I was flipping through the channels (DirectTV) and noticed that I had ESPNU already.

I have COMCAST and ESPNU, Classic, and MLB Network are on the preferred tier which costs $15/mo. I called them and told I was lied to about MLBN and ESPNU being part of my sports tier ($5 for 15 channels) and that Direct TV could get me a much better deal. The guy said, well I can give you the preferred tier for $1.95 a month. On top of this I already get HBO for free from my yearly negotiation process.

Preferred tier also makes my girlie happy because of all the movie channels that are included (TMC, IFC, Encore, etc.)
