I know Shreveport is Cowgirl country, but are there any decent places (restaurants/bars) to watch Saints football on Sunday afternoon. I'll be there all weekend and will be a little out of my element.

There's Buffalo Wild Wings on the LA Boardwalk along the Red River, also one south of town on Youree Dr. The Casinos will all have games showing in the various lounges (they are all downtown along the riverfront also). You shouldn't have any problems finding a place to watch the game.

Shreveport is not cowgirl country as many on this board lead you to believe..

The tide has been turning for the past 10 years.
I can caount maybe 1 cowboys fan for every saints fans..

Ralph and kacoos in bossier will be airing the games if you want a decent meal with your game.
BUFFALO Wild wings will be airing the games.
And Fast Eddies in bossier.

N 'cahoots is a little bar with die hard saints fans./

I could go on....

You'll be able to watch it anywhere, because you can see the jumbotron in Dallas from Shreveport.

I hate it Dice but there are a ton of cowboy fans in Sport. But Snarf, casinos are great for the game. They'll set up like wings and hot dogs big screens and good company as long as the Saints and cowboys aren't on at the same time lol

I'm not a fan of BWW...I really would like to watch the game with locals at a local bar...similar to Ivar's, Bulldog, Chimes in BR

I'm sorry to differ, but Shreveport is not Cowgirl land anymore. I've lived here my entire life (sad I know), and I know I've seen a swell of Saints fans everywhere. I don't know if it's from relocated fans after Katrina that stayed here, or that the Saints are just grabbing more fair-weather fans. Of the many friends that I have, not one is a Cowboys fan. By the way, the third most popular team here is the Steelers. And it baffles me.

Don't ever go to BWW for a game. Unless you like waiting 30 minutes at the bar for a beer and terrible food. What's On Tap or the Horseshoe is the way to go.

If you're an LSU fan, the Robinson Film Center downtown on Texas St is showing the game Saturday in HD on three screens. It's free and two for one drinks.
