For those saying jefferson didn't have a good game, just for the record, 11 of 19 for almost 200 yards, that's a 57 percent completion rating, 3 td's, "no interceptions", his quarterback rating was 186.0, oh, and most importantly, we won.
I obviously like most of ya'll am not thrilled with the teams performance, but lets not freak out yet.....

given the awful play calling and shitty O-line performance i think Jefferson played really well for a young QB. He also had a couple of drops.

thats pretty good, i think at the end of the season his stats will say

25 passing TD's 1800-2000 passing yards
8 int's

5 Rushing TD's 700-900 rushing yards
1 fumble

You forgot what is almost the most important QB stat: 9.05 ypa.

Also, he was 8-42 rushing, or taking out the 8-yard sack, 7-50.

I have read posts from people saying they didn't think he played that well....he didn't "light it up", but again, he did well IMHO. And honestly, I think the defense's problems will be corrected this week. I guess we'll see Saturday night!

dude his 3 tds, one to BL was on the money.
The two to TT were done on the effort of the receiver.
Im not saying JJ played bad at all, but lets not stretch things and paint it an excellent performance.

He did look somewhat confused and out of sync in the first half, but then again, he didn't throw very much in the first half. Also, it's much to his credit that even when things weren't crisp, he didn't panic and do anything stupid.

The worst part of his game against UW in my opinion? The spacing on those options... Jesus, that shite was ugly to watch.

No kidding, but that is how they looked with RP running them.

Overall we are pretty successful with it, but it looks like poo poo.

think the spacing issue might be b/c we love running the option to the short side of the field?

and miles is holding crowton back. i'm not being sacastic (done too much of that the last coupla days). JJ started his 3rd friggin' game sat. the coaches ARE holding him back. JL was put into an impossible situation last year and it backfired. our coaches are trying to bring JJ along slowly until his comfort level and ability to read defenses is as good as it can be before the meat of the schedule arrives. his numbers prove it is working! JJ has a chance to be one hell of a QB. he's tough as nails too. When the guy that tackled him got his bell rung and JJ just got up and went back to the huddle...daham!

That's part of it, but doesn't account for the two backs being THAT close together. shite, they may as well have been holding hands.

he's just not an option QB...he's basically running a QB sweep with a running back to pitch to just in case.

dangerously close to a pick-6 on the endzone play though...
