Can we finally put to rest that he isn't Laron or any version close? I found myself in the second half looking to see if he was even on the field. He did a bang up job in the first half of missing tackles. Still waiting for all these big hits I heard about in fall camp. There is a reason he is just now getting the starting nod.

I'll admit he didn't look good on Saturday, falling for the PA pass right before half on the long pass that setup a FG was bad.
But give him time it was only the first game and he has a great curveball.

I am with you 100%. Chad's stats were padded at a 1-A school, Southern Lab. We need Loston in a hurry.

Holliday as well. Thye guy has zero football instincts and the next tackle he beaks will be his last. He is sort of like a nice, shiny trinket to have on the team but does not add much.

As someone said in another thread, if Jones had been wearing 44, people would want him off of the team.

dude is all of 6'3" 230 and let a freshman RB stiff arm him to the ground, c'mon Chad. If I had that size the RB's arm no matter who he is, could be Adrian Peterson, I'm breaking his arm.

I like Chad but I'm starting to think he is all hat, no cattle. He just doesn't have the intensity of Laron. He is too laid back for that. Look to Loston to follow in Laron's footsteps. He has that killer instinct.

Yeah I hate a guy that's returned punts/kickoffs for TD's. He should just be utilized as a return specialist and see action in some trick plays.

I think this is retarded. Chad did not do great, but do you think bringin in a true freshman in right away for a guy that has been here two years is the answer. I know Loston is a beast and a great athlete, but so is Chad. Chad may look lost at times, so will a freshman. Not to be a dick, but if it took him that long to qualify, do you think he has the playbook down by now?

open hits on QB's are expected, now if it were Tebow than it would be impressive. Laron is a hitter no doubt, but a lot of his best shots in college was open unprotected, unimpeded freelane shots at QB's. You are really impressed when you see a DB unload on a top RB that thinks he can't be stopped. like Berry did Moreno last year.
