One thing worth noting...

is that Washington did not have to follow the 20 hour practice rule until after the first game according to the anouncers, since school has not started yet, so the could prepare as much as they wanted.

They also did not have to travel 2500 miles and play in a different time zone.

considering theyve lost 14 in a row prior, they should be allowed to practice 24/7 to be competitive.

I don't think it is a lame excuse that we probably had no relevant game film.

Why? UW has a good QB and a new coach with a reputation as a good OC. I think that puts the defense at a huge advantage not having game film as it the most beneficial to the defense IMO. It doesn't take away from the defense sucking at tackeling and the DEs and OLBs at contain. I just think it probably made them a little less prepared in their assignments.
The biggest thing is teams like OSU, Bama, and VT looked like garbage too. OSU almost lost to Navy at home. 58 points were scored in the Bama-VT game and we were supposedly watching elite defenses. Anyone with a brain saw both of those teams have very underwhelming offenses.

All three looked at least 2 touchdowns better than us last night.
