Don't know how to beat the 07 season. Gosh that was a roller coaster with fireworks at the end.

Geaux Tigers, beat the Huskies.

I think the 07 season showed how football has changed for the better. I personally loved it.

Agreed. O7 will never be topped as far as pure football excitement, especially "THE" 4 game stretch of FLORIDA, KENTUCKY, AUBURN and ALABAMA.
I won't soon forget the "Goin' To The Ship" song that I co-wrote also.

I'm partial to the 2003 season. No one expected us to win or even compete for the MNC. That fiery defense you could always rely upon, the UGA game, the Skyler catch, Eli falling on his arse, harassing Jason White, spoiling Greene's and Eli's Heisman chances... I could go on and on

Why the finger? It was one of a kind, no RB with 1000 yards (Mealey led team with 637)
Only 1 reciever with 30+ catches (Jerel Myers 64)
a starting QB he completed less than half his passes (48.7%) and threw 19 INT in 10 games played.

LSU as a team threw 25 INT and 11 touchdowns that year.

I will still occasionally say, out loud, "We couldn't possibly have won the championship after losing to Arkansas...was that all just a dream?"

I probably need to speak with a professional about that.....

That was at least 5 years worth of nail biters rolled up in one season. I remember being exhausted after each close game and watched them all at my bud Teds house. Man, was his ol'lady glad when the season ended.

I’ve been in Tiger Stadium for 51 years – and I could not agree with you more!

Hopefully after this season, we’ll both have a new favorite year.:jump1: :jump2:

The only thing that can possibly beat the 07 season is an undefeated season. But man, 07 was very, very exciting.
