And why not? They've got nothing to lose. I would be hesitant to show the Pac-10 my entire playbook, but, why not script a few trick plays/aggressive plays early and see how LSU's re-tooled defense reacts to it? It's probably the smartest way to approach the game.
Facing a heavily favored opponent at home, UW's best shot is to get an early lead. Failing that, keep it close and try to pull it out in the end. With their lack of success last season, it will be tough for UW to come from behind. Therefore, they can't really afford to be conservative.
