Meh...the garden-variety flu kills ~40k annually. Plus, as is always the case with these projections, the emphasis should be on the world "could".

well sure, but there are being grim with these projections because H1N1 hasn't really adapted to our DNA yet, it seems.

that's why our population is going to be so vulnerable to it.
