You seem pretty bitter. Did you graduate from ULM?
LA Tech seems to be doing pretty well without playing ULM. Decent football team. Tier 3. I see them being talked about more and more lately. Why change something that seems to be working?
They're playing Home and Home's with Southern Miss and Houston in the near future, I saw in the paper. That's better than ULM, IMO.

Both schools will be fine without playing each other. If you are close to the situation then its so easy to see the arrogance of Tech. That's fine if they want to think and act in such a manner but don't expect ULM to help them fill their schedule in all sports except football. As a ULM fan I don't want to see any games with two.

Tech since then (2001-2008): 37-47 (.440)
Not playing ULM has done nothing for Tech. They simply have a delusional view of their value and choose to view themselves as a (significantly) more respected program than ULM, and it simply isn't the case.
