Another injury for USC

Starting DE Armond Armstead is out with a broken foot. Surgery for tomorrow and will be out at least 6 weeks 
This is a much worse injury for USC than O'Dowd going down. Amrmstead was a athletic 295 lbs. Huge things were expected out of him this season. Now we may have to move Everson Griffen from weak-side DE to Strong Side. Possibly this could open the door for True freshmen Devon Kennard.

This injury is big. Armstead was by far our biggest DE, which was important as we lost a lot of size and physicallity at the LB postion.

IMO, O'Dowd is better at C than Armstead is at DE (more a credit to O'Dowd, since he's an absolute beast, not a knock against Armstead), but just the fact that the OL for USC is so deep, and the DL isn't as deep, I agree, this hurts more.

Starting DE both from AZ... That makes me sick.

There's talk of Nick Perry moving over too. He's been playing inside and outside throughout camp.

This isn't USC's backup kicker getting hurt. This is their starting DE. I don't get why MJR posting this is a big deal (I'm actually glad he did post this), but whatever.
