i go running back in the first two rounds.
then wr. definitely get a wr in the first three rounds.
then get a qb at least be the 5th.
dont pick a kicker until the very last round.

pick running backs and wide receivers the first 6 or 7 rounds, unless you can get Brady or Brees if you are late in the 1st round.
Please don't pick a quarterback in the 4th or 5th round. The difference between a 4th round quarterback and an 8th round quarterback is very little overall. Stock up on running backs and wide receivers, then pick back-to-back quarterbacks in the 7th and 8th, or 8th and 9th rounds. Don't be the first to pick a tight end this year.
Steelers, Ravens, Giants, and Titans are the best defenses. You can pick one of these in the 7th or 8th round if you really want to.
I am assuming this is at least a 10 team league.

I never do this and Ive pretty much finished top 3 in every league Ive been in for the last 8 years.
RBs can get hurt easily, esp the heavy used. There are always going to be players never thought would have a breakout year (ie Lance Moore last year) that you can grab off waivers.
A top notch QB (16 QBs played every game for their team last year) an win you a league. ( won with Warner, Brees, Brady & Manning in the past). When Ive had the Hasellbacks and Bulgers of the world I havent won.
I know, no one cares

I do this every year and I have made the playoffs every year of my league. I always have 5 good running backs, while everyone else only has 2. If one of their guys gets hurt, they have to come to me to get another back. And I can get a stud QB or WR out of the deal then if I want to. I'm talking a player that they took in the 2nd round for a player that I took in the 5th or 6th round.
