I don't think I would call Alem,Levingston, Woods, Alexander,and Nevis young, maybe not veterans, but they've got a couple of seasons under their belt. As I recall most of this group were 4 stars. They just need good coaching. Maybe the guy was referring to Hicks, Montgomery, Downs or Davenport when he used the term "young".


I still believe coaching was the biggest problem on the D last year. This season should prove out this statement.

We can win some games this year if we limit the opposition to 2 or 3 touchdowns.

Not young in the slightest. Of the five, 2 are JRs and 3 are SRs(including one who's about 30-years-old). And they're pretty experienced, too. They've all played a lot besides Woods. It's the 2nd string that is young and inexperienced.

Inexperienced is a better word for our front 4 starters...but from the looks of it our 2-deep may have a couple of true freshmen, as well.
