My point is that he copied an offense that had been used for decades though. He is getting credit for things he did not do. I understand that his teams at Springdale (biggest HS in the state) were good, as with Shiloh (recruited which is legal for a private school and played in a very bad league). But to say he is a "mad scientist" for offenses is not true.

Call him what you want but since his hire there hasn't been a more accomplished assistant coach in college football.
In 3 years his resume now includes 3 division titles, 3 conference championship games, 3 bowls, 2 OC of the Year awards, nation leading team and individual offensive stats, and a formation that has swept the sport.
Point being, no one's laughing now and don't overlook Auburn.
