the bank's not supposed cash checks not dated properly .. i have had people write me checks accidentally dated for the next month and the bank wouldn't cash it .. had to get it rewritten ..

But it's on you (or the writer ratyer) if they do, not on the banks as you are not supposed to write post datede checks its illegal
