He's not in BR.

When he WAS, he liked it.

He will, however, play college football at the university of Florida.

With all the great RBs from Louisiana, why can't we produce great LBs?

Don't know too much about LA football other than it being top-notch. Do coaches in LA typically turn their more talented big guys into linemen or keep the very athletic ones at skill positions? It does seem like LA lacks at producing LB's compared to all of the other positions.

You do understand that it's UF right. I mean, we're not talking about Texas Tech, or Marshall!

A lot of these kids just want to play for Charlie Strong. It doesn't hurt that they also get to play defense in the premier conference in the USA on team that typically plays in a lot of big games on national TV.

Not to mention Luc is from Fl.

Side note: La may have great RB do to the lack of great LB.

I posted this in another thread:

Louisiana routinely produces highly rated RBs:

Keiland Williams 5*
Justin Vincent 5*
Michael Ford 4* #59 OVR, Scout 5*
Charles Scott 4* #50 OVR

WRs:

Rueben Randle 5*
Early Doucet 5*
Chris Tolliver 4* #70 OVR
Trovon Reed 4* #40 OVR
Jared Mitchell 4* #97 OVR

DL:
Al Woods 5*
Chris Davenport 5*
Glenn Dorsey 4* #47 OVR, Scout 5*
Marlon Favorite 4* #72 OVR
Carnell Stewart 4* #66 OVR
Kyle Williams 4* #99 OVR
Rahim Alem 4* #61 OVR
Drake Nevis 4* #93 OVR

DB:

Jai Eugene Scout 5*
Janzen Jackson 5*
Chad Jones 5*
Laron Landry 4* #87 OVR
Stefoin Francois 4* #63 OVR

Hell, we've even produced a 5* QB recently in Ryan Perrilloux. Ryan Miller was the #71 OVR prospect in 2004, with Chris Faulk #47 OVR just last year.

Not once in Rivals's archives has Louisiana produced a Top 100 LB.
