the Ohio St day game back in the mid-late 80's. i am too old to remember and too lazy to search for the exact date.

1987 - Game was a tie. Great game, though. Ohio State was great that year.

This... before the game when Ohio state refused to take the field first... and I have been to every game mentioned with the exception of the USC game.

Yep. Fricking Earl Bruce refused to bring his team out of the tunnell & the noise built to a piercing level I've not heard before or since. The Great game, hot as hell though.
