Lived on Brightside for three years when I was in school and in recent years when I've had occassion to drive down Brightside noticed this Brightside Grill.
Worth stopping once or is it forgettable?

Food isn't any good really. They do have dollar burgers on Mondays though.
It's an ok hangout, some people love it some people don't. A nice change from the Tigerland scene though.

I'm a fan, have pretty good crawfish although that really doesn't apply for this time of year.

Decent cheap food, buffalo chicken sandwich, chicken club sandwich. The Friday lunch special used to Catfish Acadiana w/ a side salad. Pretty solid for $6

Good and CHEAP...Fried Chicken Club and you can't go wrong
