you are exactly right, there is a diff between criticizing a player and bashing him... however there is a fine line that seperates the two... and many here cross it, you included.

Dont kid yourself, there isnt a LSU football player that takes nearly as much "critisizim" as you refer to it, as JL (qb's in general).,,
at least with those other guys mentioned, they arent red shirt fresh.

Its a very safe assumption to say these two have been somewhat of a disapointment.
JJ and RS have already been labeled just as these two above have.
You wonder why the bashing or critisizing occurs as freq as it does?.... Players are under a microsocpe and often times unrealsistic expectations are branded on them before they can even show what they can do.
Sadly most of it comes from people who's majority of football knowledge more than likely comes from NCAA football 2009.
