not much playing time this year. Is this pretty much irrelevant? Who's spot is he taking? Who's hurt?

I don't know...I mean it is tough to watch a guy hit .220 and not really be more than an average defender.

And I hate the Cubs..I'm just saying the rationale is there to send him down to AAA.

Yep, I think he has played his last game as a Cub. I actually like the Baker/Fontenot platoon at 2nd. Baker has a .909 OPS against lefties.

I would rather Freel over Fontenot anyday of the week. Freel is much more versatile, has speed, and is an above average defender.

Just my opinion.
