estimate from Omaha..Tiger fans,,, from pple that were there

Id say a short estimate was 15000 your thoughts of the esatimate????

I knew a lot that went up for either the 1st weekend or the 2nd weekend. If you take into account that many fans were not there the whole time I'd say a lot more than 15k went at some point.

championship series final game prolly 10,000 were LSU fans but maybe 75% were from louisiana
entire CWS, i'd guess about 12k traveled from louisiana to omaha

You have to take into account that there are a lot of local fans in and around Omaha. I run into people wearing LSU shirt and hat all the time and ask them where there from or if they went to school there and 95% didn't. They are just fans from going to the CWS. I would say there was 12K that came up over the course of the CWS.

I did both. I would say at least 20K fans.

I don't know about a total number but it was 70/30 tiger fans at the championship series games.

Lots of Tigahs went early and left to go back to work. I know cuz that's how we got our room at the team's hotel for the last week. Counting those folks, the Omaha locals dressed in P&G and the 'family,' we had to have at least 25,000 in Omaha at one time or another.

I was only there for the championship series and my thought was we were closer to 20k but self-admittedly I am not the best at judging numbers. 15k would probably be the closer estimate but it sure felt like more.

I was there for the first two games, made the 16 hour drive. Even scored free tickets down the first base line from a season ticket holder. This was our first trip to Omaha, loved it and the people.

under the new format, I don't see how many people can make it the whole time. Almost 2 full weeks. Kudos to those who can.
