i took the opposite route. Grew up in LA and moved to Texas. Almost every day and every week people ridicule the fact that I am from Louisiana, we've all heard them. And they always ask, why does everyone in Louisiana worship LSU.

This is why. As he put it, we don't beautiful scenery, notable national landmarks, our phony politicians ran what little we had into the ground over the years, and we've been destroyed by hurricanes for the last few years....and what is the one light at the end of the tunnel, the one thing not all but most of us can relate to.....it's LSU.

that's why our fanbase is the uncontested best fanbase out there.
