damn, maybe I should have gone to UF? 
I have UT (Texas), A&M, La Tech, etc. grads who report to me, as I'm a manager of Project and Maintenance services.....maybe I would be VP by now over the whole lot had I gone to UF?

You guys need to remember that all of these ranking are mostly based on student admissions. As LSU takes the bulk of it's students from LA (not known for the quality of it's K-12 educational system), LSU will naturally rank lower. Trust me, an LSU degree can take you anywhere. I got my degree from LSU and I now work on the Large Hadron Collider (in fact I spent part of my day helping to straighten out a guy from MIT).
