that has to be the dumbest thing i've ever heard. the year 2000 is not part of the 90's as much as you'd like it to be. the only reason why you say it is is because lsu won 5 titles in 10 years and you think it sounds better for some reason to say they won 5 in one decade.This post was edited on 6/26/09 at 11:47 am

The 90's is a period of 10 years starting at 1990. It all depends on how you look at it.. If you count decades as started at 01 AD then 2000 was not in this current decade.. But if you say the 00's or 90's you are identifying a 10 year period in itself which is also a decade by definition. Most LSU fans counted the 2000 in the last decade to be the team of the decade too. You cant count one twice.
