So is LSU going with a wordmark on the football jerseys now?

A couple of weeks ago someone posted an image of the LSU uniform in the new NCAA 2010 and it featured the 'LSU' wordmark just below the collar. I figured it was just EA taking liberties (which they have been known to do), but further investigation lead me to this:

Hate it. Looks kinduv tacky and actually somewhat cluttered on the front of the jersey. This won't actually be implemented on to LSU's jerseys next year will it?

Keep in mind that those are replicas. I'm sure the real ones will look better.

i guess i dont understand "out of place"...would it be better across the stomach?
