LSU Fans In Omaha

I have had the pleasure (and pain) of watching this College World Series unfold from the couch in my living room. I didn't miss a home game this year but could not make the trip due to work. To those of you who are there
, and to those of you still in Baton Rouge screaming at the top of your lungs at the TV, hoping your voice catches those same trade winds to Omaha that the Texas Longballs have been so proficient at seeking out
as well.
Time after time, the game ends and I have a huge smile on my face, and every once in a while things don't go our way. Last night, obviously, did not go our way and temepers flared, fingers pointed, and excuses were made. Stop this... there is no point.
Even if we lose, there are thousands of people all over the country in awe of the passion this school brings with its sports teams. There are young children watching who never followed LSU, and are now glued to the TV for every pitch. Rosenblatt has been plastered with the Gold and Purple that seems all to familiar here at home. Texas outscored us last night, but they did not beat us. Skip built an empire, and win or lose (most) fans will be out there cheering this team to victory. Believe me. People are watching, and are jealous.
Having said this if you are in Omaha, get off your seat tonight and make some noise. When that stadium gets rocking the players notice. You can see it in their faces and suddenly it is a different team out there. They are more composed and carry a certain swagger. I know great plays can take crowds out of the game, but lets not be that "stereotypical crowd". Keep it rocking and watch one of the greatest teams LSU has seen in Baton Rouge feed off the energy.
Texas can go toe to toe with LSU, but the Longhorns won't even enter the ring with Tiger-nation.
Good luck tonight Tigers. It has been a great season. Bring it home.

HELL YES.
I hope all of you in Omaha bring that same fire and passion we had at the '07 UF game in Tiger Stadium. Let the nation know who we are. Stand up, scream, jump, do whatever it takes.
I firmly believe that no matter how down and out it looks, LSU fans can will our team to victory. Its what makes this school so special.

I'm sure I will find a way to ruin my reputation eventually, but thanks for the compliments.
