I agree. I like Orel's commentary.
He tries to discuss small techniques that most commentators do not focus on. It really is better than the canned lines about "Did you know Jared Mitchell plays football?"
I was not really a fan in his playing days because I didn't like the Dodgers, but I always respected him.

I do too. He was right on talking about why Colemen was pitching better from the stretch because his foot straight against the rubber....interesting stuff.

One of the funniest things I remeber about him was they zoomed in on Lasorta one time with Orel in the backgroung, during a playoff game I think, and Orel was mocking/imitating T.L. behind his back, funny as shite. Then Lasorta turns and looks over his shoulder and Orel was straight. T.L. faces the camera again and O.H. starts walking around with his gut sticking out again.
