The staff felt Michael Ford and CM were the same type of players...skat/between the tackles type players. Kind of like a Keiland.
Pratt was the power back
Calhoun was the speed back.
Trent Richardson was just to good to say "No" to, so as long as he considered LSU he had a scholarship.
Thats it, nothing else to it.
When Ford committed LSU stopped putting the heat on CM.

Toliver was a 5* athlete, but not exactly a 5* receiver coming out of high school. he was rated on his potential and his crazy upside, but he was very, very raw.
