Impressions of CWS first round ?

LSU , got to love our chances we looked strong proved we can do without our best pitching!! Arizona State looked good ! CSF , Texas #1 overrated but decent , Arkansas , hot at the right time ! Southern Miss, scrappy team but dont see them going to the end . North Carolina , choke as usual but could surprise me . Virginia , good team but just happy to be here. Prediction LSU vs Arizona State in final!

top to bottom...its LSU and ASU, but I hate these scrappy teams like UVA and USM.

I think we all will Lith. But i do see your point. Every remaining team scares me as long as they don't have 2 losses, If we are the winning team on June 24th only then will I be happy (or the 23rd provided we can also win on the 22nd)

texas is the worst #1 overall seed ever

gotta like the way LSU and Arizona St's pitching is set up...A St only used 2 guys...we have coleman coming in...virginia played us alot harder than i expected but i think they are done against cal st's ace...there have been some great ballgames thus far

am i the only one who is worried about the way arkansas is hitting the ball lately...i know coleman has been the man all year and he shut them down before, but i think they are swinging the stick better and more consistently in the tourney (regionals, supers, cws) than anyone else

IMHO Arky & USM are dangerous teams, we can beat them, they are hot at the right time..

Arkansas may be hitting okay right now, but LSU is going to put up double digit runs tomorrow.
Arizona St. has two good lefties, and even though we beat a good lefty yesterday, those two from ASU can be tough on us so I will be pulling for someone else in the other bracket.

Southern Miss has only a couple of pitchers who appear to be capable of throwing strikes.

It always boils down to pitching and the bull pens....I like our chances, ASU will be tough.
