I hope Cad doesn't see this, but, I love electric smokers. Constant heat, water pan does not run out due to high heat like in the beginning of charcoal.. For grilling, can easily be used to grill steak or fish. For steak, aprox. 6-7 minutes on each side. I soak pecan wood and use as smoke chips when smoking with water.. Some people say you don't get the same "flavor" with an electric, do you find that to be true?
